Open Access Policy
Era's Journal of Medical Research (EJMR) was published in July 2014 and below points summarizes our position on open access.
This journal provides an immediate open access option which allows authors and their funding bodies to make the final published version of their article freely available online.
- EJMR will make the article freely available for anyone to read online from the time of publication.
- The final version can be posted to institutional and subject repositories immediately.
- Articles published are deposited automatically in EBSCO and their mirror sites and indexed databases.
- All articles are highlighted on the journal website.
- Article processing/ publishing charges are free of cost no charges for any services.
Open Access
Open Access is a publication model where neither readers nor a reader's institution are charged for access to articles or other resources. Users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of papers published under a CC-BY-SA copyright license and use these articles for any non-commercial purpose.
Papers published under a CC-BY-SA license may be distributed, reproduced or adapted for commercial advantage without the prior written consent of EJMR.
Published research is the foundation for progress in medicine and science. Open Access publishing therefore leads to wider dissemination of information and increased efficiency in science, by providing:
- Open Access to the widest audience
As a researcher, publishing in an open access journal allows anyone with an interest in your work to read it - and that translates into increased usage and impact.
- Open Access to ideas
Whether you are a patient seeking health information, an educator wishing to enliven a lesson plan, or a researcher looking to formulate a hypothesis, making papers freely available online provides you with the most current peer-reviewed scientific information and discoveries.
- Authors who publish with EJMR retain the copyright and moral rights in their work.
- All articles published in EJMR are available to the end user free of cost and without login. Researchers are free to share, copy and redistribute the article under the following terms-
